Crocodile Creek has a series of colorful, durable, PVC-free mats that present a wide variety of fun things to learn, says Wired magazine today on their GEEK DAD blog.  The article prominently features Aaron Meshon's USA map.

There are almost thirty images to choose from, on themes ranging from letters and colors to seasons and things that fly. The borders include extra facts and descriptions. Think of these placemats as the oversize pages in your child's first visual dictionary pages you can wipe spaghetti from.
