Simon Danaher was tapped to do a job for Ultra Tide Stain Remover through Saatchi & Saatchi NY, who found his portfolio on theispot. The campaign went on to win the Grand Prix in the Press category at Cannes Lions this year, as well as Gold in the Outdoor category. That’s literally as big as it gets!


“There were about 4000-5000 or so characters per image; the difficulty was packing them so closely, so it looked like fabric, with the characters also being randomly placed.”

“On top of that I had to control the positions and scale so that they also all aimed (randomly!) towards the stain section. Working on that scale and maintaining artistic control is extremely time consuming. It really was a marathon job!”
