Dear Ken Dubrowski,

As a newer illustrator, in this field of contract freelance, I'm earning an education through the significant actions and efforts you and others are making and supporting. I am trying to do what I can to educate myself and others about the field. I would appreciate it if you would please add my name to the Proposal to the Trade Publications, in support of this proposal.
I plan to have a long career ahead of me, and I'd like to ensure that the illustration field be taken seriously and reasonably and have a solid future. The rich variety and creativeness that stands as the volume of illustrators/artists and their work today will only diminish, into the future, if illustrators and/or artists are taken advantage of by unfair practices and ignorance.

Thanks to you and the many others, here at the ispot and the GAG, who are participating and taking notice.

Christopher

Just a question,
Are these issues with stock illustration and illustration pricing only happening in The USA and Canada? or is there the same pressure towards illustrators in Europe, Australia, China, Japan, etc... and if the pressure is the same, is the word getting out?

The pressure is not the same in Europe. The USA artists are spear heading this movement. Most people don't even know who Getty are.
